Master Planning & Concept Design for the reclamation of a new waterfront park in Onehunga including the creation of several beaches. Bespoke worked as part of a comprehensive design build team to bid for the project and coordinated with coastal engineers, architects and contractors to facilitate the design.

Design responses worked with the existing context, historical relationships, coastal processes and other site elements to create a variety of spaces and experiences. Links to the wider pedestrian and transport network were seen as a key element of the design. Also considered highly was the variety of ways that the public interface with the coastal edge could be explored.

Our project team included HEB, Chow Hill Architects, SKM, Andrew Stewart, Bioresearches, Studio Pacifica & Heron Construction.
