The redeveloped destination playspace at Lake Rotokaeo (Minogue Park) was officially opened on the 17th of August, much to the delight of crowds of eagerly awaiting children. Mayor Julie Hardaker cut the ribbon following some short speeches and a blessing performed by local Iwi. The design and construction of the playground has taken place over the past 6 months, a process where Bespoke worked closely with Hamilton City Council and playground specialists Park Central, to define a unique and creative result that melds appropriately into its stunning natural context.
