Bespoke are excited to announce the appointments of Leigh Wilson and Amy Collingbourne to our team, both highly talented individuals whom will play a key role in contributing to the design and development of our projects going forward. We look forward to introducing you to Leigh and Amy over the coming months.
Joining us as an Associate Landscape Architect, Leigh will be pivotal in leading the design, coordination and review of key projects, bringing with him a depth of experience from previous roles over the past 12+ years, both in New Zealand and overseas. Leigh is an NZILA Registered Landscape Architect and has a strong background in design with excellent graphic, design and technical delivery skills at all levels. He is passionate about creating environments that enable social engagement and an appreciation of our small planet. His experience in a wide variety of projects includes the development of Urban Parks and Rural Reserves, Sports Parks, Urban Streetscape Design, Revegetation Restoration Planning and Implementation, Cycleways, Walkway and Open Space Planning, Wayfinding and Interpretative Signage Strategies, Playspaces and associated Design Guidelines. With considerable experience in leading projects from conception to completion and managing all aspects of contract documentation and construction, Leigh has a fundamental understanding of design process, interrelationships and the skill set required to ensure successful design outcomes in collaboration with others and the community.
Amy joins us a Graduate Landscape Architect, and is a motivated and dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail. She is confident working in teams, working independently and efficiently, and presenting to diverse groups of people. Her overarching design interests include a fascination with large urban and rural systems and conversely detailed design interventions, with the provisional and cumulative, change over time, public interactivity, materiality, and cultural meaning and traces. She is also passionate about writing, both quantitative report writing and more theoretical, qualitative writing. A graduate from Victoria University, her time studying and tutoring in landscape architecture has enabled her to effectively approach a wide range of problems with curiosity, enthusiasm and well-developed time management and interpersonal skills.
