Resort Road Turkey
Situated on a remarkable stretch of the Aegean coastline, Bespoke were contracted by WATG to assist in the design of the resort road experience linking a 480 hectare luxury resort site. Our design objectives focused on integrating the road in the most natural manner by minimising cut and fill, retaining native vegetation and responding to the varying character areas throughout the site. At key interstices and points of character change, ‘nature plazas’ were introduced - designed spaces offering distinct contrast and experience along the resort road route. Water sensitive urban design techniques were utilised and construction material / techniques selected for their ability to be locally sourced and constructed by local labour. |
