HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL PLAYSPACES

To date, the redevelopment of several neighbourhood playgrounds in Hamilton has been a collaborative effort with Hamilton City Council, Fluhler Contracting, with local communities providing valuable feedback to enable the establishment of creative, fit for purpose facilities. For each playground design, Bespoke gives careful consideration of the site’s topography and location, ensuring the playspace responds to, and integrates with the surrounding environment in an appropriate manner. Each playsapce accommodates a wide range of play experiences suitable for neighbourhood scale parks and expected user groups. Elements that improve play provision for user of all ages and abilities, and combining traditional pieces of play equipment with more natural and unprogrammed play features, allows individuals to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength.
